The airline's chief executive predicts that the year 2012 will move on significantly well, as like 2011 year, but not the exact profit as like in the year 2011, BreakingTravelNews
Irish carrier Aer Lingus has seen its good annual profit, but warns about the fuel price and the growing pension deficit, which will certainly harm the long run growth of its business. Aer Lingus has made a profit of about €84.4 million during the 2011, and €27 million the year before. A statement from the Aer Lingus company has mentioned that the rise in profit occurred due to the effective cost cutting, wherever possible.
The company’s revenue also increased up to 6 percent, which resulted in €1.3 billion. The company’s chief executive, Christopher Mueller has mentioned that the successful profit in the business impacts with the increase in fuel price, increase in airport charge, and other challenges in the market. Mueller also added that Aer Lingus would also be profitable in business as like 2011, in the future as well. He also warned that further increase in the fuel prices would definitely impact the business.
Mr. Mueller concluded that the year 2012 will move on significantly well, as like 2011 year, but not the exact profit as like in the year 2011.
