This Leap Year Cancels Around 133 Flights at Iberia

BreakingTravelNews declares one more surprising airline news. Read it below!

Due to the pilot walking out for strike, Spanish flag-carrier Iberia forces to cancel around 133 flights on February 29th. Flight services across Europe and Spain have also been canceled because of the continuous strike by the pilots regarding the launching of a low cost carrier. The pilot fare wages have decreased because of the new carrier migrates to the new low-cost offering.

A statement from the company says that the strike may affect passengers, and steps are been taken to make the necessary alternative arrangements to get the clients to their respective destination as soon as possible. You can also see the list of flights that are been canceled here.

Along with British Airways, Spanish carrier is also a part of the International Airlines Group (IAG).
