Best Western Has Confirmed Malaysian Expansion
There are six more properties to be added in the period between 2013 and 2015, which will extend the group's portfolio of around 11 properties in Malaysia. The developments are also in pipeline, which would increase around 15 properties in Malaysia in the year 2015.
Best Western has confirmed that its portfolio of hotels will be substantially increased in Malaysia. Best Western already has its three hotels in Malaysia, which are Best Western Kinabalu Daya, Best Western Sandakan Hotel and Residence, and Best Western Marina Island Resort Pangkor. In the early months of this year, the company embarks on the growth strategy, around the nation. During 2012, Best Western will also add two of its hotels in Malaysia, which are in the landmark Best Western Premium Dua Central, and Best Western Wana Riverside Hotel, Melaka.

Malaysia has welcomed around 25 million visitors during the year 2011, and targets around 36 million visitors during the year 2020. The vice president of Best Western International operations- Asia and Middle East, Glenn de Souza announced that through the low-cost carriers along with excellent air connections, strong economy, and large number of visitors around the world, will ensure the Malaysian tourism to look bright.
Mr. Glenn de Souza also added that the company is able to support new type of business and leisure tourists, which attract the blossoming destinations.
