A New Partnership Contract Between Travelport and SWISS

Travelport- one of the leading business service providers- has announced the partnership contract with the Swiss International Airline LTD. With this partnership agreement, Travelport ensures its Galileo and travel agency customers around the world can also have the full access to the SWISS related published contents. 

The new agreement also mentions that the GDS surcharges continue to waive to all the Travelport connected travel agencies. This surcharge is also applicable to the travel agencies who participate in the SWISS Preferred Fare programs operated in the countries like Austria, Switzerland, Germany, and Liechtenstein. Apart from all these countries, Galileo and travel agencies can have an access to get the details about SWISS related inventory and published fares.

The head of revenue management, Pricing and Distribution department of SWISS, Oliver Barthelmeh says the partnership with Travelport provides an important distribution channel to the Galileo and Worldspan platforms, with respect to the sales of SWISS fares. Travelport also provides a high efficient booking experience to the travel agencies worldwide, for the SWISS flights.
