American Airlines adds new Heathrow-Dallas flights
“American Airlines declares the news of fourth flight between London Heathrow (LHR) & Dallas/Fort Worth from June 14th 2012”
American’s two-class Boeing 767-300 aircraft six-time weekly service will be operated offering a total of 219 seats, including 28 in Business Class.
The oneworld carriers American Airlines and British Airways counting the daily British Airways service will now offer 5 daily flights between London Heathrow (LHR) & Dallas/Fort Worth.
In March 2008 the London service was increased to three daily flights and was moved to London Heathrow airport (LHR).
The joint business agreement with oneworld partner British Airways was implemented with entry into London Heathrow, permitted hundreds of connecting flights at both the Heathrow and Dallas airports.
‘This additional service provides even more links from London Heathrow to our major hub in Dallas as we now serve Dallas/Fort Worth up to five-times daily in cooperation with our joint business partners at British Airway’, Said Graham Bell, chief of sales UK & Ireland.
He further added that, “It is a twofold celebration as we reach our 30th anniversary on this direction and revealed the ongoing achievement & magnetism of Dallas/Fort Worth as an international hub and access to Texas.”
