Doubt Continues: OneWorld Backs off Kingfisher Membership
Due to the overwhelming doubts on economic reputation of Kingfisher Airlines, One World backs off the alliance agreement
Corporate eyes were waiting to see the happy alliance between Kingfisher Airlines and OneWorld the next week but due to delicate economical condition of Kingfisher Airlines, the alliance again delays for some more time period, declares BreakingTravelNews.
Brush Ashby (Chief Executive of OneWorld) saus that ‘Kingfisher is facing some turbulent times in airline industry across India and other nations and hence, it’s not the right time to carry on with the alliance’.
Further he even added that, “we have been closely working with Kingfisher Airlines since years but the weak economical condition of the airlines is forcing us to take some more time in welcoming the airline into our alliance group”.
Chairman of Kingfisher Airlines, Mr. Vijay Mallya replied that ‘In light of many priorities centered on Kingfisher Airlines recapitalization efforts, we felt it sensible to postpone our entry into the coalition with OneWorld for a little while”.
