Noodles & Company to Open First Restaurant in San Diego Proper
New Restaurant in Sports Arena Kicks-Off Grand Opening With Pre-Opening Fundraiser for The Rock Church and Academy
Noodles & Company, the restaurant that serves made-to-order noodles, soups and salads inspired from around the world, will open its doors to the Sports Arena community on Friday, May 14 at 11:00 a.m. The new restaurant is located at 3650 Rosecrans St. (Rosecrans St. and Sports Arena Blvd.)
In celebration of the new restaurant, the public is invited to a pre-opening fundraiser at the new Sports Arena location on Wednesday, May 12, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant will donate 100 percent of the proceeds generated from the benefit night to The Rock Church and Academy, which is a kindergarten through 12 grade school and church with about 20,000 members. Funds raised will go to support the church and academy.
"We are excited to open in San Diego and serve our fast, fresh and affordable menu to the local community," said Kevin Reddy, CEO and chairman of Noodles & Company. "We also know San Diegans are outdoorsy, health-minded people, so we are especially thrilled to offer our healthful options to fuel this community. For example, we have 16 bowls under 400 calories."
The new Sports Arena location will be open from Sunday through Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Convenient carry-out, phone-in or fax-in orders also are available.
