New Service to Venice for Summer Season
Finnair starts flights to one of the most popular European holiday destinations
Finnair has started scheduled flights to Venice, Italy on Friday, April 3, 2009. The flights will operate three times a week Âon Mondays, Fridays and Sundays during the summer season until October 5, 2009.
Airbus A320 and Embraer aircraft will be used on the route. The oneclass service onboard does not offer a separate Business Class.
Italy is one of the most popular European holiday destinations, especially for Japanese and Chinese travelers. The Venice flights have excellent connections to Finnair's Asian network.
Venice is an excellent starting point for touring by car to Verona, holiday destinations on the Adriatic Sea, Florence, Tuscany and elsewhere. The surrounding Veneto area is important business travel destination. A large proportion of Italy's shoe and clothes manufacturers are located there.
In addition to Venice, Finnair flies twice a day to Milan and once a day to Rome.
