Air China as a Star Alliance member and the only flag carrier operates a worldwide network from its hub in Beijing. As of August 2008, Air China owns a fleet of 231 Airbus and Boeing aircraft, operates 23 routes-including 168 domestic , 69 international, and 6 regional routes-in 29countries and regions. Air China offers more than 6,000 flights with over 1,000,000 seats every week.
