Icelandair Announces Two New Destinations
Stavanger and Duesseldorf will be part of the company's network
Effective Jan. 7, 2009, Icelandair reduced fuel surcharges to all destinations from its North American gateways. Round-trip fuel surcharges to Iceland have been lowered by $58USD, and to the U.K., Scandinavia and Continental Europe by $98USD.
Icelandair is excited to announce the addition of two new destinations in 2009. Stavanger, Norway, and Duesseldorf, Germany, will now be part of the network that includes over 20 destinations throughout Scandinavia, Great Britain and Continental Europe. Scheduled flights to these destinations will operate seasonally beginning June 1 through September 6, 2009, and will be part of a continuous effort to strengthen our network and offer our customers new experiences with our signature quality service.
Icelandair's fleet is now in full force with more room and comfort, 3 classes of service, and personal entertainment centers for all travelers. Icelandair offers service to Iceland from Boston, New York-JFK, Minneapolis/St.Paul (seasonal), Orlando Sanford (seasonal), Halifax (seasonal), and Toronto (seasonal). Connections through Icelandair's hub in Reykjavik are available to more than 20 destinations in Scandinavia, Great Britain and Continental Europe, some of which are seasonal.
