Two Italian Companies Form New Airline
Air One and Alitalia unite
Today a new airline is born from the union of Alitalia and Air One. The new Alitalia maintains the best values and traditions of Italian aviation, consolidating entrepreneurial & managerial energies of the two airlines and operating with a renewed fleet.
We'd like to share with you some of the main updates for the 2008/2009 winter season:
Efficient coverage of Foreign Markets:
- 47 international and intercontinental destinations are served by more than 780 weekly frequencies with optimum connections to domestic flights in Italy.
- From the USA, Alitalia will operate to Rome from MIA, BOS, CHI, JFK and EWR everyday. JFK will have two daily nonstop flights to Rome in addition to daily service to Milan. BOS and CHI Alitalia flights will be operated with Air One A330 aircrafts.
