Hubbard, OH-based BELLERIA PIZZERIA (founded 1957) has increased by 1 unit, from 15 to 16 (7% growth).  These family/casual Italian/pizza restaurants are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a $4-$10 per person check average.  Locations serve beer and wine, and have average seating for about 70.  Catering and delivery are available.  Units are franchised and located in OH.

C C'S COFFEE HOUSE of Baton Rouge, LA (founded 1995) has increased by 2 units, from 35 to 37 (6% growth).  These are quick serve coffeehouses with limited seating.  Meal periods are breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is around $2-$6.  Catering is available.  All locations are in LA.

RUSH'S of West Columbia, SC (founded 1949) has increased by 1 unit, from 8 to 9 (13% growth).  These are quick serve restaurants with seating for around 90.  Meal periods are lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is around $4-$10.  All locations are in SC.

Everett, WA-based ALFY'S PIZZA (founded 1973) has increased by 1 unit, from 12 to 13 (8% growth).  These are family/casual pizzerias, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is $4-$10, serving beer and wine.  Most units have seating for about 150.  Catering, banquet, delivery, and online ordering are available.  All stores are located in WA.

BIG TIME RESTAURANT GROUP based in W Palm Beach, FL has increased 1 unit for Rocco's Taco's, from 1 to 2 (100% growth).  Other concepts are Big City Tavern (1), City Cellar (2), City Oyster (1) and Grease Burger Bar (1).  Overall company growth is from 6 to 7 (17% company growth).  These are upscale restaurants with full bar and seating for around 200.  Meal periods are lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is around $15-$30+.  Banquets are offered.  Locations are in FL and MI.

Vancouver, BC-based FDC BRANDS (founded 1997) has increased by 2 units for the Mr. Mike’s Steakhouse concept, from 17 to 19 (12% concept growth) and also added 2 A&W units, from 7 to 9 (29% concept growth).  Overall company increase was from 24 to 28 (17% company growth).  Mr. Mike’s is a family/casual steakhouse concept, open for lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is $10-$30.  Units seat about 200 and have a full bar.  The restaurants are franchised and located in AB and BC.

Atlanta, GA-based HOOTERS (founded 1983) has increased by 7 units, from 451 to 458 (2% growth).  The restaurants are family/casual, serving American cuisine.  Meal periods are lunch and dinner, with an $8-$20 per person check average.  Units seat about 200, with a full bar.  Catering and private party services are available.  Units are franchised and trade in AB, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MB, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NM, NS, NV, NY, OH, OK, ON, OR, PA, PQ, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV, and 25 other countries worldwide.  We featured this concept on 1/6/09 (1% growth) and on 12/15/09 (2% growth).

BARBERITOS headquartered in Athens, GA (founded 2000) has increased by 1 unit, from 21 to 22 (5% growth).  These are fast casual Mexican restaurants with seating for around 90.  Beer and wine are served.  Meal periods are lunch and dinner.  The check average is around $3-$8 per person.  Catering is available.  Locations are more than 90% franchised and are in GA, NC, SC and TN.  We last reported on this concept on 8/18/09 (11% growth).

Columbus, OH-based CHARLEY'S GRILLED SUBS (founded 1986) has increased by 9 units, from 401 to 410 (2% growth).  These are quick serve sandwich shops, open for lunch and dinner, with a $3-$6 per person check average.  Units have limited seating.  Catering service is available.  Locations are franchised and trade in AK, AL, AR, AZ, BC, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, ON, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV, and 13 other countries worldwide.  We last wrote about this concept on 11/3/09 (2% growth).

TOKYO STEAKHOUSE based in Salem, NH (founded 1992) has increased by 1 unit, from 3 to 4 (33% growth).  These are upscale Japanese restaurants with full bar and seating for around 150.  Meal periods are lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is around $15-$30+.  Locations are in MA and NH.  We reported on this concept on 3/10/2009 when they had 50% growth.

Jacksonville, FL-based FIREHOUSE SUBS (founded 1994) has increased by 9 units, from 372 to 381 (2% growth) and entered into IL.  These quick serve sandwich shops are open for lunch and dinner, with a $3-$6 per person price range.  Limited seating is available.  The restaurants offer catering and online ordering.  Units are franchised and located in the states of AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MO, MS, NC, NV, OK, SC, TN, TX, and VA.  We featured this company on 12/30/08 (1% growth), 4/21/09 (6% growth), and 10/13/09 (3% growth).
