Kevin Sawatsky Joins Island Hospitality As Vice President of New Business Development
Island Hospitality Management Inc, one of the largest hotel management companies in the United States, announced today that Kevin Sawatsky has joined the company as Vice President of New Business Development.
In his new role, he will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and structuring third-party management agreements. “Hiring Sawatsky signals an intentional new growth direction for the company” said Jeff Waldt, Senior Vice President of Sales for Island Hospitality. “We believe that we are in a critical window of opportunity for growth in our industry and to address the historic opportunity, we are intentionally assembling the best players in the industry to add to our existing team. We will aggressively pursue this avenue of growth for our company in a renewed effort to use Island’s significant expertise and resources to solve real issues for hotel owners.”

Bringing more than 25 years of industry experience to the new position, Sawatsky most recently served as Vice President of Development for Maryland-based Coakley & Williams Hotel Management Company where he developed and negotiated numerous third-party management agreements over the past several years.
