Air One and Lufthansa Ending Partnership

The two airlines will no longer be operating flights in code-share

Rome, Italy - (WAPA) - "On March 28, with the close of the Winter Season, the partnership agreement between AirOne and Lufthansa will cease to be operative.

Starting on March 29, which marks the beginning of the Summer Season, the two airlines will no longer be operating flights in code-share, that is, with shared flight codes. For those clients who have already purchased tickets for flights after March 28, 2009 and which still have AirOne-Lufthansa code-share flight numbers, there will be no practical or operative changes: only the flight code number on the reservation will be modified (from LH to AP and vice-versa).

Members of the Miles&More club will be able to book their rightfully due Air One tickets based on their accumulated mileage bonus points by March 28, 2009 for flights departing up to March 28, 2010, operated with AP codes and AirOne aircraft.

Members of the Alitalia MilleMiglia club membership card can accumulate bonus points for that programme by flying on the newly integrated Alitalia-AirOne network which offers passengers a far-reaching network of 70 destinations in Italy and the world, with more than 2,300 flights departing every week, easy connections to better meet the needs of our clients, also permitting them to make comfortable same day return trips to and from the most important Italian and European destinations.

AirOne and Alitalia are continuing the integration process of their network, fleet and internal organisation, both commercial and administrative, begun January 13, 2009.
