AirTran Airways Unveils Seasonal Service Schedule

Airline Brings Travelers Eight New Routes for the Summer

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today announced new seasonal service, beginning in May, between many of its destinations, including: San Antonio to/from Baltimore/Washington and Orlando; Allentown, Pa., to/from Atlanta and Orlando; Asheville, N.C., to/from Tampa and Orlando; Wichita to/from Orlando; and Harrisburg, Pa., to/from Atlanta.

"This new seasonal service will give AirTran Airways' customers more nonstop options for traveling around the country during the peak summer months," said Tad Hutcheson, vice president of marketing and sales, AirTran Airways. "We're making it easier and more affordable than ever to get to that family reunion, enjoy a beach vacation, take a spin on the newest theme ride in Orlando or just visit a new and exciting destination."

Upcoming Seasonal Service in San Antonio

AirTran Airways will begin seasonal, daily nonstop service between San Antonio and both Baltimore/Washington and Orlando, with connections to other cities in AirTran's route network.

Upcoming Seasonal Service in Allentown, Pa.

AirTran will begin seasonal service between Allentown and Atlanta, with connections to additional destinations, and will increase the frequency of existing flights between Allentown and Orlando.

Upcoming Seasonal Service in Asheville, N.C.

AirTran will introduce new seasonal service between Asheville and Tampa for the summer, as well as increasing the number of flights between Asheville and Orlando from three to four flights per week.

Upcoming Seasonal Service in Harrisburg, Pa.

AirTran will resume seasonal service between Harrisburg and Atlanta, with connections to additional destinations.
