Airport Is Installing 72 Devices to Make Hand-Washing Easier for Children
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is making it easier to travel with children by installing Step 'n Wash in all 72 public restrooms throughout the facility.
Step 'n Wash units are self-retracting steps, secured permanently beneath restroom sink counters. They enable the Airport's smallest customers to wash their hands independently and prevent the often-awkward process of parents lifting children up to the sinks.
In addition to promoting a healthier lifestyle, Step 'n Wash reminds young travelers about the importance of properly sanitizing their hands.
When the project is complete, Hartsfield-Jackson will be the first major airport to install Step 'n Wash in every public restroom.
