Best Western Signs First Premier Hotel in Philippines
Best Western International and Unibuilt Real Estate Corporation have signed an agreement which will further boost the chains presence in the Philippines and at the same time introduce the Best Western Premier brand to the destination.
The agreement for the Best Western Premier and F1City Center Hotel was made official on March 11, 2010, in a signing ceremony at the F1 City Center Showroom, MC Home Depot, Fort Bonifacio Global City, by Mr. Glenn de Souza, Best Western International's Vice President of International Operations - Asia and Middle East, and Mr. Vince Abad Santos, the President of Unibuilt Real Estate Corporation.

Even more so, it is the first and flagship hotel of our luxury Best Western Premier brand here in Fort Bonifacio Global City. This, and our tie-in with Unibuilt Real Estate Corporation, will significantly boost Best Western's profile in the Philippines, a destination we view as holding great tourism potential" said Mr. de Souza.
Due to open on January 2011, the 240-room F1 City Center Hotel enjoys a prime location within Fort Bonifacio Global City. This newly developed area is home to upscale residential buildings, trendy restaurants and bars, retail outlets and the Market! Market! Shopping Centre. Many corporations are also relocating their regional or national headquarters to Fort Bonifacio Global City, including The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, Deutsche Bank, Fujitsu and Ericsson. A Stock Exchange will be built, while St. Luke's Medical Center and Taguig Coliseum and Convention Center are other developments slated for the area.
