New Survey Provides Hoteliers Insight on Industry Trends

As the hospitality industry continues to recover, hoteliers look for insight on industry trends. To provide that insight, the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) and VIZERGY®, leaders in hotel Internet marketing, have teamed up to conduct a dynamic study that will help properties increase their online revenue and understand how their peers are navigating the volatile environment.

The survey “Assessing the Industry – Hotels’ Online Spend and Strategy Deployment” will help develop a best practices study that will be presented in whitepaper and Webinar formats.

According to Robert Gilbert, president and CEO of HSMAI, “the ever changing landscape in managing a hotel’s online presence requires the continual development of tools and resources to help hoteliers. This study and subsequent whitepaper and Webinars will summarize key strategies that will help optimize revenues at hotels.”

The study will provide:


  • Insight on branded and independent properties’ online marketing spend and strategies

  • Tools and suggestions on making strategic decisions

  • Methods and tactics to increase online reservations



The survey, designed for all types of hoteliers, closes Friday, April 9. The free whitepaper will be available early summer, with the Webinar presented shortly after by a panel of HSMAI and VIZERGY representatives and hotel Internet marketing experts. Survey respondents that provide e-mails will be the first to receive a copy of the study.
