The major goal of creating such a tour was the revival of the production of unique and famous sorts of wine like: Negru and Rosu de Purcari (Purcari Black and Red wines). The production of the Purcari wine was recreated, the ancient cellars, dating from 1827, were renovated. Nowadays, these cellars are considered to be the oldest ones and the most well known cellars in the whole Moldova. Don’t miss the chance to check them out personally!

ASCONI Winery was created in 1994. Nowadays, it owns 600 hectares of vineyards that are located at only 8-10 kilometers from the winery. The winery cultivates local types of grapes like Rara Neagră, Fetească Regală as well as Saperavi, Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Muscat Ottonel and etc. The winery has been recently opened for wine tourism and offers excellent facilities for all the wine lovers - you just need to ask!
