SkyWest, Inc. Reports Combined April Traffic for SkyWest Airlines and Atlantic Southeast Airlines
SkyWest, Inc. (Nasdaq: SKYW) reported a 10.9 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for April, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 8.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
The combined airlines generated 1.53 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 1.92 billion. Load factor was up 1.7 percentage points to 79.5 percent compared to 77.8 percent for the same period last year. Passenger boardings for April totaled 3,097,439 a 12.7 percent increase from April 2009.
