Iberia Airlines was recognized by Skytrax Ranks as a 4-star airline
The Skytrax organization made a rating based on the features and quality of service of Spanish airlines. The rating reflects the quality of service, as well as the personal attitude of the airline's employees to passengers. In 2016 Iberia is recognized as the most punctual air carrier in the world. In addition, Iberia received the award for the best changes made to the airline.
Skytrax awarded Iberia Airlines with an additional star after a three-week comprehensive analysis of the company. The 4-star category reflects the high level of quality, service and attention of the airline's personnel to passengers, both during flights and at airports.
Iberia reorganized the airline, replaced most of the aircraft, updated seats in business and economy class cabins, and created a premium economy class for long-distance flights. Also, Iberia was the first airline to equip its WI-FIs.
