Flights between USA and Europe

British Airways announces new flight connection between New Orleans and London Heathrow, flight will be held four times a week starting March 27, 2017. As a result, British Airways becomes only one airline carrier connecting Louisiana city with Europe by operating a direct flight route. Flight will be operated by Boeing 787-8, with return trip airline tickets fares starting from £599/$974 for World Traveller, £899/$1248 for World Traveller Plus and £1749/$2690 for Club World.



Flight number for flights departing from New Orleans (MSY) will be BA224 operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays departing at 21:20 local time and arriving in London (LHR) at 12:00 next day. Flight BA225 departing from London (LHR) on same weekdays and Saturday at 15:40, landing in New Orleans (MSY) at 19:40.

Another news is about Iberia airlines, who introduced yesterday, October 20, 2016 their new premium economy cabin for their aircrafts operating long-haul flight routes. Airline tickets in this new cabin will be possible to book in 2017, however, traveling period will start during summer 2017.

Lucky aircrafts who are getting these brand new economy cabins will be eight Airbus A330-300s and 13 of the airline’s A340-600s.

Passenger booked airline tickets will be able to enjoy 19” wide, in addition space between rows will be enlarged to 37”. It will be possible to put down the seat 40% more compare to other seats in economy cabin.
