El Al Is Making Passengers In-Flight Experience More Pleasant
Special footrest, alcoholic beverages, and individual entertainment system, El Al is making positive upgrades
EL AL announces that it is adding an Economy Class Plus which will make passenger's in-flight experience more pleasant. Some of the things you definitely will enjoy include: greater pitch between rows (36” instead of 32”), 33% greater incline than in Economy Class, special footrest.
Passengers also will enjoy individual entertainment system, designated check-in counters, alcoholic beverages, special comfort kit, as well as many more features for a richer flight experience.
Also, Economy Class Plus is situated at the front of Economy Class, with 34-40 seats in 5-8 rows (depending on the aircraft) and it is separated from Economy Class by a curtain. These seats are more comfortable compare to regular seats.
As you sign up to be seated in the Economy Class Plus, you will receive notification confirming your seat in the Class the day before. But being seated in Economy Class Plus is not free.
Only passengers in classes with full flexibility (Y, S, and M classes) may be seated in the Class for free when reserving their flight and is subject to seat availability.
The price per flight segment on long range destinations is $150 (USA, Canada, China, Thailand, Hong Kong, South Africa and India).
The price per flight segment on short range destinations is $80.
At some time from 30 hours before the flight and until check-in, an EL AL representative will contact you by phone, if you received Economy Class Plus seating. For those of you who wish to have more pampering flight experience, new Economy Plus is a good option.
