Are You Paying Attention to Flight Safety Semonstrations During the Flight?
Is it really hard to take some five minutes before the flight take-off process to carefully listen to the flight safety demonstrations or pre-recorded video?
Recently got to hear from a flight comparison site and their survey news that, approx two third of the UK fliers are not interested to concentrate over the flight safety demonstrations or the flight safety video because they believe it is completely ‘unnecessary’ for them.
The survey poll over giving concentration to flight demonstration safety measures was organized amongst 1,389 UK passengers, all of whom have flown on the aircraft overseas for two previous years. The study came out with an unpredictable result, i.e. 63% of the respondents answered that it was not necessary for them to listen to these safety measures or pre-recorded flight safety videos. About 26% of the respondents only find it important to carefully hear the flight safety instructions whereas the rest 11% of the respondents disclosed that they sometimes gave importance to such safety instructions and not always.
Further 63% of the respondents who admitted that they are not interested in paying any attention to the flight safety measures were asked to justify a valid reason for the same and then the survey turned out to be more unpredictable. Around 51% of such respondents justified that these instructions are completely redundant for them, 31% of such respondents admitted that it is just an emergency reminder while the rest felt that these instructions were completely unnerving them during the flight.
The fact is that thought the passengers feel that the flight safety instructions or videos are completely unnerving them; there exists a significant need of such instructions to the first time or regular fliers.
