Etihad Airways combines frequent flier program with airberlin

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, and airberlin will integrate their frequent flyer programs from January 15, 2012, as part of the rollout of their recent partnership.

Etihad Airways is the national airline of the United Arab Emirates has signed a partnership deal with Airberlin on frequent flier program. The partnership deal rolls out on 15th January 2012 and this has been flashed on many news channels and papers, recently.

Benefits disclosed for Etihad and Airberlin frequent flyer members:

Etihad Guest Silver, Gold & Gold Elite passengers will enjoy bonus grade benefits such as use of Airberlin’s priority check-in, priority boarding and augmented baggage allowances on all routes.

Etihad Guest Silver, Gold and Gold Elite passengers as well as Airberlin top bonus members flying with Etihad Airways will also be able to use elite airberlin waiting areas at Berlin, Cologne and Dusseldorf airports.

Etihad Guest passengers will now be able to grab status and bonus miles across Airberlin’s network and benefit from services like use of airberlin lounges and increased baggage allowances, etc. Airberlin chief Commercial Officer,
