Lanyon and Serenata to Provide Hotel Sales Teams with Expanded Visibility of Corporate Purchasing Activity
New product integration provides dual view of corporate spend to include both real PMS production and Request For Proposal bid rates and bid status
Following requests from international clients, Lanyon, Inc. (www.lanyon.com) and Serenata IntraWare (www.serenata.com) today announced the integration of their services. Users of Lanyon RFP and Serenata NetHotel Sales will be able to obtain dual visibility into corporate account spend and Requests For Proposal for preferred transient rates.
Lanyon is the leading provider of content and spend management solutions to the travel, transportation and hospitality industries. Serenata is a leading supplier of CRM and e-marketing solutions for the hospitality industry.
The integration will empower the Serenata NetHotel Sales application to provide a full picture of corporate account business, including both actual PMS production and the RFP hotel and account status from Lanyon. The sales team will have immediate online access to the following Lanyon data directly from the NetHotel Sales application:
- Bid rates and status for a specific account
- Bid status and rates for all accounts at a specific hotel
- Summary of activities for any particular partner or account
- Details and documents on the RFP process for particular accounts and partners
“The integration between Lanyon and Serenata enables sales agents to plan and monitor the sales pipeline of their worldwide key clients more effectively. The content is richer and provides a total account view at a mouse-click,” explains Dieter Dirnberger, President at Serenata GmbH. “Serenata and Lanyon have many mutual hotel partners, and the collaboration between our two companies provides a clear, single picture of sales and RFP activity. The link between the two systems enables the hotels and hotel chains to choose best-of-breed technologies in their various operations which then effectively operate as a single sales platform,” said Todd Tyler, CEO, Lanyon, Inc.
