Responders working to clean up the Gulf of Mexico are getting some support - and gratitude - from the Four Points by Sheraton New Orleans Airport and Four Points by Sheraton Biloxi Beach Boulevard.
A "Gulf Region Responders" offer at each hotel provides 15 to 20 percent off regular rates, complimentary 800 and local calls, and a free breakfast. The offer is available through August 31, 2010 and bookable by going to www.fourpoints.com/responders.
The "Gulf Region Responders" offer is aimed at making travel a little easier for cleanup crews, relief workers, fishermen, and others toiling to contain the Gulf oil spill, according to Brian McGuinness, Senior Vice President of Specialty Select Brands for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT).
"As good neighbors and responsible global citizens, we thought this offer was the least we could do to make working in the region easier for first responders," McGuinness said.
