Lanyon to Launch Property Directory, a Web-enabled Property Viewer for Reservation Centers
Enables hospitality suppliers to create a personal on-property reservation experience to travelers calling off-site call centers
Following the successful implementation with Fairmont, Raffles and Swissôtel brands, Lanyon, Inc. (www.lanyon.com), today announced the public availability of Lanyon Property Directory, a content solution for hospitality call centers. Lanyon has partnered with Interactive Sites to develop Property Directory, which delivers up to date, relevant and accurate information for reservation agents to provide to their callers.
Lanyon Property Directory leverages Lanyon’s extensive RFP and content management technologies and aggregates property information from several data sources, including the Lanyon on-line database, data held on the destinations, chain policies and promotional information, and displays it in a clean and easy-to-use format for reservation centers. Lanyon Property Directory is a fully customizable solution for any application that requires a method to display brand and property content.
“We are delighted to bring this new solution to market following the extremely successful implementation earlier this year with Fairmont, Raffles and Swissôtel brands. In partnership with I-Sites, we are excited to offer this new solution to all of our customers as an efficient and effective on-line sales tool to support call center agents” said Roland Tanner, Lanyon’s Chief Operating Officer. “The development of this solution has been in direct response to the needs expressed by our hospitality clients. Moreover, it is especially rewarding to receive the enthusiastic response from reservation center users who are excited to access this rich source of information and supply it to their callers.”
“The new solution from Lanyon enables sales agents in all of our reservation centers to more effectively communicate the features and benefits of our property’s products and attributes. The content is richer and more flexible than you generally find within a central reservation system and can be updated by the hotel using the Lanyon Content Control Center,” says Jeff Senior, Executive Vice President Marketing and Sales at Fairmont.
