American Airlines Announces Launch of New Flight Between Dallas/Fort Worth and San Salvador, El Salvador
American Airlines announced the launch of its new nonstop flight between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and San Salvador, El Salvador (SAL). The airline is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary serving the Central American country.
American is operating the new flights using Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 148 seats, 16 of which are in Business Class and 132 in Economy Class.
American currently offers two daily nonstop flights to El Salvador from Miami International Airport (MIA). There is also one daily flight to El Salvador from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
"This year marks our 20th anniversary serving El Salvador," said Peter Dolara, American's Senior Vice-president – Miami, Caribbean and Latin America. "The new flight not only gives our customers a new way to get to El Salvador, but also complements our existing service from Miami and Los Angeles. The new flight offers our passengers from El Salvador more alternatives and connections to other American Airlines destinations".
American and its regional partner, American Eagle, offer service to 42 destinations throughout Latin America and Mexico, more than any other U.S. airline.
