SkyWest, Inc. Reports Combined May Traffic for SkyWest Airlines and Atlantic Southeast Airlines
SkyWest, Inc. (Nasdaq: SKYW) reported a 7.3 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for May, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 7.8 percent compared to the same period last year.
The combined airlines generated 1.58 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 1.98 billion. Load factor was down 0.4 percentage points to 79.7 percent compared to 80.1 percent for the same period last year. Passenger boardings for May totaled 3,192,484 a 9.2 percent increase from May 2009.
