Private Jet Charter Sales Increase 52% for New Flight Charters in January 2010

Most Popular Destinations for Private Jet Charters Were Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Aspen, Colorado

Nationwide private jet charter leader New Flight Charters experienced a 52 percent increase in year-over-year charter sales revenue for the month of January 2010. The number of individual charter bookings increased by 39 percent for the period. The jet charter company came off of strong December sales, and as of the date of this writing, February sales are continuing the trend.

"We were planning a sales increase over January 2009, which was near the bottom of the recession, but nothing near fifty percent," said Rick Colson, New Flight Charters' President. "This is a great sign for New Flight Charters and for the industry overall; we're very pleased."

Aircraft chartered in January ranged from Pilatus PC-12 executive turboprops to the Gulfstream IV-SP large cabin luxury jets. 56 percent of charters in January were with light cabin jets, indicating client budgets are still a large factor in their private jet travel choices.

New Flight Charters' top five destinations during January 2010 were (#1) Jackson Hole, WY; (#2) Aspen, CO; (#3) Las Vegas, NV; (#4) San Francisco, CA; and (#5) Teterboro, NJ (New York City). International destinations in January included Santiago, Chile; Liberia, Costa Rica; and St. Petersburg, Russia among others.

Private jet charter leader New Flight Charters provides premium private jet charters worldwide with its own aircraft and other independent jets through premier operators nationwide.
