Held at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich during the 20-21st January, the conference featured details about WorldView-2, the DigitalGlobe constellation, tasking options, Web Services and a wide range of exciting new products and services the Alliance will be supporting. The conference also included informative presentations by industry thought-leaders from DLR and the European Space Agency (ESA).

Highlights from the Conference:
"The conference was excellent and very well organized. The vision of the Alliance showed us that they will be flexible and reliable which will help us meet our client expectations for VHR imagery," said Sheena White, Infoterra, United Kingdom.
"Having a tour of the Direct Access Facility was great -- 8 band multispectral and WorldView-2's huge capacity to collect enables us to offer new and unique solutions and this makes the Alliance really different," said Mikael Kamp Sorensen, Director of GRAS, Denmark.
"The timing of this Conference could not have been any better, following closely on the achievement of full operational capability on the 4th January. Reaching full operational capability within three months following launch is a testament to the investment made by DigitalGlobe to provide the best available coverage, refresh and innovation through its advanced high resolution constellation," said Adrian Zevenbergen, Managing Director of EUSI. "We can now offer our customers access to all of DigitalGlobe's solutions and when this is combined with our Direct Access Facility, expected to be operational in late March or early April, we expect to extend the value offered to our customers with additional unique products and services only available through the WorldView Global Alliance."
"Channel partners provide more than just value added services, they represent an extension of our business and portfolio of services to the marketplace," said Rafay Khan, SVP International Sales DigitalGlobe. "Our partners experience excellent service from the Alliance where they can leverage our constellation, world's largest ImageLibrary, priority tasking and rapid production and delivery through a local partner."
