Caney Fork Restaurant Announces the Opening of New Restaurant in Tupelo, MS on March 8, 2010

The opening will mark the second of six units to be opened this year by Caney Fork Restaurant. "We pride ourselves on our casual atmosphere and great quality southern style fare. We opened two weeks ago in Columbus, MS and the community has responded very positively with more than 3,000 customers visiting the restaurant during our first week," states Josh Weis, Vice President. "Judging by the emails and inquiries we are getting from the people of Tupelo it appears the buzz has been building and we are so excited to be a part of the Tupelo community."

Caney Fork also operates a 10,000 sq ft restaurant located in Nashville at the front gates of Gaylord Opryland. Tourists from more than a dozen states have come to know Caney Fork's awesome steaks, catfish, and ribs as they have visited the nationally famous Gaylord Opryland. "Since we have become so well known by the many people who have visited the original Caney Fork over the years, we felt it was time to take the brand to several southern towns who could really appreciate good southern food and great prices," states Josh Weis. Caney Fork will be located at 713 S Gloster Street, Tupelo, MS 38801 between the Tupelo Mall and the North Mississippi Medical Center. Caney Fork will bring approximately 80 new jobs to the Tupelo area and will be accepting applications after February 23rd.
