Passengers Are Asked to Arrive in Good Time
Development at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to continue for two more years
The extensive renovation and improvement work continues at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. As a result, there may be changes or short breaks in services and routes. In addition, some check-in and security control facilities are temporarily out of use. Because of the ongoing work, passengers are asked to arrive at the airport in good time throughout the autumn.
Remember that you must check in within the minimum times given by your airline. Depending on your airline, you can save time by checking in beforehand on the Internet, via text message or at the self-service check-in kiosk at the airport. Boarding begins approximately 30 minutes before your flight’s scheduled departure time.
The renovation project will be completed in 2012. The airport is undergoing a complete facelift, and there will be new, bright and spacious passenger facilities as well as bigger and better check-in and security control areas.
