Sage Hospitality Resources and Legacy Property Group announced the appointment of Nanci Sherman as Chief Experience Officer of Glenn Hotel in Atlanta. Drawing upon nearly three decades of luxury hospitality experience, Sherman will oversee all aspects of the 110-room Glenn, an architectural treasure in the walkable Luckie Marietta District whose Southern charm and attentive staff make travelers feel as if theyre staying with an old friend.
We are thrilled to have Nanci onboard to breathe new life into the hotel. Its wonderful to have her here at the historic property, one of Atlantas premier downtown addresses, said Walter Isenberg, President and CEO of Sage Hospitality.
Nanci embodies the inclusive experience of Glenn, which is about what happens at the hotel and yet also encompasses the sights, sounds, and activities of the Luckie Marietta District, said David Marvin, President of Legacy Property Group.
Sherman has enjoyed a rich hospitality career since assuming her first position in convention services at the Denver Hilton in 1980, beginning a 16-year career with Hilton Hotels. She joins Glenn following three years with Lifestyle Hospitality, a Connecticut-based hotel concept that infuses urban properties with the small luxury resort-hotel experience. As Vice President of Operations for Lifestyle, Sherman was intimately involved in all aspects of the company, from developing brand attributes to overseeing market analyses and feasibility studies.

Even while engaged in management, Sherman maintained her own hotel consulting service. For more than a decade starting in 1995, her Onsite for Insight Consulting counted clients including the James Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona; the Boutique Hotel Group of New York, New York; and Hotel Bel-Air in Beverly Hills.
Born and raised in New York City, Sherman earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Communications from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
