Icelandair, the national carrier of Iceland, has relocated its North American headquarters from Columbia, Maryland, to Quincy, Massachusetts.

This transition helps embrace new opportunities for Icelandair in Boston and has created a number of additional jobs that will become a part of the local Massachusetts workforce.

In a year when most companies have been opposing tough challenges, Icelandair has faced them with a Viking spirit, and now looks forward to its restructured team and growing its reach across North America. Icelandair also appreciates the many friends and partners in the Mid-Atlantic area whom have supported it throughout its tenure in the Baltimore / Washington region.

This year Icelandair has seen many changes but continues to grow with the announcement of a new gateway in Seattle, the addition of destinations in Europe including Stavanger, Düsseldorf, Brussels, Glasgow, and Manchester, and now with the relocation of operations to the Boston area.
