Worldwide over 1,515 luxury hotels and 2,150 first class hotels with, in total, more than 1 million guest rooms are under construction.

Building costs for a luxury classed hotel room amounts to average 183,000 Euro. A first class room reflects with 135,000 Euro in the construction budget.
