Beginning June 24, customers can listen to zydeco music or feast on beignets any time they want with the new year-round service.

“We are pleased to give our customers the option to fly directly to Baton Rouge – the capital and second-largest city in Louisiana. Once launched, customers traveling from Baton Rouge will be able to connect to one of 128 domestic and international destinations through our Charlotte hub.”
All three daily flights will be operated by wholly owned US Airways Express carrier PSA Airlines using 50-seat CRJ-200 regional jets. Customers can begin booking their travel on March 27.
US Airways Director, Express Planning, Jason Reisinger said, “We are pleased to give our customers the option to fly directly to Baton Rouge – the capital and second-largest city in Louisiana. Once launched, customers traveling from Baton Rouge will be able to connect to one of 128 domestic and international destinations through our Charlotte hub.”
Baton Rouge Mayor-President Melvin “Kip” Holden said, “This is a tremendous boost for Baton Rouge. We are looking forward to the new partnership with a great airline. This helps us from an economic development standpoint, and it also benefits families seeking more choices in air travel.”
Baton Rouge is the second domestic destination to return to service this year from US Airways’ Charlotte hub. Service to Melbourne, Fla. resumed February 11 after a 12-year hiatus.
