Benchmark Hospitality Names Ted Davis Vice President Sales & Marketing,TX
Benchmark Hospitality International has named Ted A. Davis vice president sales & marketing for the leading, privately-held hospitality management company. Greg Champion, Benchmarks chief operating officer, made the announcement.

"He brings significant industry knowledge, vast sales and marketing experience, and outstanding leadership skills to his new role. For the past 25 years, Ted Davis has been active in hospitality sales and marketing for major brands within the industry, serving in important leadership positions. Most recently, he was vice president of sales and marketing for Noble House Hotels & Resorts, responsible for the strategic direction and operations of the companys global sales organization, as well as corporate brand management and marketing.
Previous to this position, Mr. Davis served as regional director of sales & marketing for Wyndham Hotels Corporation, with domestic and international responsibilities for hotels within the Luxury Resorts Division.
Mr. Davis has also held senior sales positions with Hilton Hotels Corporation. While with the global brand, he steadily advanced within sales and marketing to positions of increasing responsibility in several markets, culminating in his appointment as regional director of sales and marketing overseeing 28 properties in multiple brand categories. Earlier positions included serving as director of sales and marketing for properties in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Portland.
Ted Davis is a graduate of Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, where he earned a Bachelors degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. He has been honored by the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau for outstanding sales performance. Mr. Davis is relocating to The Woodlands with his family.
