British Airways Cancells Some of Its European Flights
Affected passengers may rebook or refund their purchased tickets
A small number of British Airways flights have been cancelled from its forthcoming Winter 2009 and Summer 2010 schedule.
Flight Withdrawals from October 25, 2009:
- London Gatwick to Alicante (Spain)
- London Gatwick to Krakow (Poland)
- London Gatwick to Malta
- London Gatwick to Palma (Spain)
â–º Refund the ticket purchased to the original form of payment.
Customers due to travel to Alicante and Palma may:
â–º Rebook onto an alternative British Airways flight to any other BA destination in Spain, subject to availability. Onward travel to their original destination will be at the customers expense
or
â–º Refund the ticket purchased to the original form of payment.
Customers due to travel to Krakow may:
â–º Rebook onto an alternative British Airways flight to any other BA destination in Europe, subject to availability. Onward travel to their original destination will be at the customers expense
or
â–º Refund the ticket purchased to the original form of payment.
Cancellations for Winter 2009, from 25 October 2009
(The service will resume for Summer 2010):
- London Gatwick to Varna (Bulgaria)
â–º Rebook onto an alternative British Airways flight to any other BA destination in Europe, subject to availability. Onward travel to their original destination will be at the customers expense
or
â–º Refund the ticket purchased to the original form of payment.
Cancellations for Summer 2010:
- London Gatwick to Ibiza (Spain)
â–º Rebook onto an alternative British Airways flight to any other BA destination in Spain, subject to availability. Onward travel to their original destination will be at the customers expense
or
â–º Refund the ticket purchased to the original form of payment.
Please Note: If the your ticket includes a transfer to/from another BA service and will no longer be within the minimum connection time for your rebooked flights, you may also rebook your connecting flight.
Affected passengers should contact their local British Airways office to rebook.
