Republic Airways Announces Executive Appointments

Jan Fogelberg Named Vice President of Customer Experience and Technology, Aaron Workman Named Vice President of Information Technology

Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET) today announced two executive appointments.

Jan Fogelberg has been named vice president of Customer Experience and Technology. This key position in the Company’s branded network will leverage strategic initiatives to ensure that people, process and technology deliver a brand promise built on consistency and service excellence. Jan will report to Bryan Bedford, Republic chairman, president and CEO.

“As we harmonize the Frontier and Midwest brands, we will develop many opportunities to improve the customer service experience,” Bedford said. “Jan’s role will encompass monitoring customer feedback and industry trends and driving technology initiatives that improve the customer experience by consistently meeting or exceeding our passengers’ expectations and needs. Jan will work closely with the rest of our commercial team in Denver to ensure our employees have the technology tools and training to deliver on our unique brand promise to our customers.”

Republic is currently analyzing data from customer and employee surveys as it works to harmonize the passenger experience across its branded network, which includes recently acquired Frontier and Midwest Airlines. It will announce details of its brand harmonization plan next month.

A 22-year veteran of the airline industry, Fogelberg has a wide range of experience in customer service, training and technology development. Most recently she served as senior director of Customer Service for Frontier Airlines where she led the effort to implement Frontier’s Classic and Classic Plus Airfairs product.

Republic also announced it had named Aaron Workman to the position of vice president of Information Technology. He will have responsibility for all shared IT services across the corporate enterprise. Workman will continue to report to Republic Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Hal Cooper.

“Aaron’s significant experience in applying solutions within the airline industry will be a tremendous benefit to us as we work to complete the consolidation process of our IT infrastructure,” Cooper said.

Workman, a 30-year Republic Airways veteran, has held management positions in Customer Service, Sales, and Inventory Control. Most recently, he served as director of Information Technology for Republic Airways.

Republic Airways Holdings, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, is an airline holding company that owns Chautauqua Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Lynx Aviation, Midwest Airlines, Republic Airlines and Shuttle America, collectively "the airlines."
