Tbilisi Launches Summer Services to Almaty, Odessa, Budapest

Georgian Airways will operate new international flights with updated air fleet

Georgian Airways launched flights in the direction of Almaty (Kazakhstan). The first flight on the route was operated on June 7, 2009 at 7:00.

In the beginning the flights will be operated once a week, a month later - with two weekly frequencies. The cheapest ticket fare will start from EUR 295.

The Minister of Economic Development of Georgia, Management of Tbilisi International Airport attended the gala opening of the flight.

The air company will offer its customers one more innovation for the summer season. Starting from June 19, 2009 flights will be operated in the direction of Odessa (Ukraine), from June 18 - to Budapest (Hungary), from June 21 - to Thessaloniki (Greece). Ticket fares for the passengers up to 26 years will start from EUR 99.

Georgian Airways operates flights on the new destination with updated air fleet. The company recently acquired Boeing 737-700 and CRJ-100 type aircraft.
