MALMBERG TRAVEL Announces ZERO Agency-Imposed Airline Ticket Issuance Fees On All Business and First Class International Travel Originating In the U.S.

In an unprecedented departure from travel industry standards, MALMBERG TRAVEL GROUP today announced that they will be waiving agency administrative fees for all business and first class international airline tickets originating in the United States. All associated automated hotel, car, and limousine services will be included. Other fees may apply.

“In today’s economy it has become customary to find new ways to generate income and, in the travel industry, administrative fees are proliferating. We at MALMBERG TRAVEL feel that although this has a minimal impact on the overall trip cost, our decision to eliminate issuance fees on business and first class tickets provides our travelers with tangible proof of our commitment to encouraging and maintaining their business,” said Dan Berger, VP of operations at MALMBERG TRAVEL. “Our market is the upscale business and leisure traveler and while the service fee is not going to break the bank, they find it irksome to be fee’d to death. The impact to our bottom line is not worth the loss of customer loyalty and satisfaction. These people are the core market of our agency. We’ll run the program for a few months, evaluate our customer’s satisfaction and decide if we should permanently incorporate this change into our fee schedule.”
