Americas Best Value Inn Adds 25 Properties in First Quarter
Americas Best Value Inn, the ninth-largest limited-service hotel chain in the country, kicked off the year with the addition of 25 new properties during the first quarter of 2010. No matter what condition the economy is in, ABVI continues to attract hoteliers due to its innovative Freestyle Brand Affiliation model.
Americas Best Value Inn welcomed new hotel owners in top U.S. markets such as Houston, San Diego and Oklahoma City. The largest additions were a 150-room, two-diamond property in Elko, NV; a 109-room, two-diamond hotel in Birch Run, MI; and a 100-room location in Wildwood, FL. Also of note were the conversions of two former Comfort Inns – a three-diamond property in Manteca, CA and a two-diamond hotel in Fort Myers, FL.
All told, ABVI’s 25 new inns, hotels and suites (nine of which were independents and the balance were conversions from other major brands, including Days Inn and Best Western) added a total of 1,664 rooms to the Vantage Hospitality Group family, which includes the Canadas Best Value Inn, Chinas Best Value Inn, Value Inn Worldwide and Lexington Collection brands.
“Hotel owners continue to realize the value in our Freestyle Brand Affiliation model, which includes the many innovative programs and comprehensive resources, such as the Vantage Revenue Enhancement Program and Vantage Academy, that help them drive revenue,” said Roger Bloss, the Founder, President and CEO of Vantage Hospitality. “Our members also enjoy the lowest fees in the industry, having a voice and vote in all major decisions, the one-of-a-kind 100% Return on Investment Promise, and the freedom to customize their property based on market niche.”
