Winner Will Rock Out At The Europe's Biggest Music Festivals

Lufthansa and Sony seek student candidates for the Ultimate Summer Internship

Have what it takes to be the next Jann Wenner? Here’s your chance to prove it. GenerationFly.com, Lufthansa’s exclusive student travel website, and Sony Music Entertainment today launched their search to fill the Ultimate Summer Internship.

College students who apply at www.generationfly.com/internship by June 14, 2009, have the chance to embark on a 15-day trip to Belgium and Portugal on July 2, 2009 to attend the Rock Werchter and Optimas Alive music festivals, respectively, hang backstage and interview the bands, interact with other American student concert-goers, and document the experience online for all the world to see. Various Sony Music artists are scheduled to headline the festivals.

The internship includes round-trip air transportation to Europe, overnight accommodations on a Lufthansa tour bus and a ticket to each music festival. The experience continues once back on campus where the intern will help promote Sony Music artists and shows locally.

Interested students can register for the promotion at generationfly.com/internship and showcase their musical prowess by uploading a photo and/or a video (:60 or less) to GenerationFly’s Facebook fan page – "Gen-Fly-on-the-Wall." Videos can also be uploaded to YouTube.com/generationfly. Contest and community voting are open until June 14th. Students with the most votes have a chance to make it to the group of finalists, from which Lufthansa and Sony Music executives will interview and select the winner of the Ultimate Summer Internship.

All applicants will receive exclusive student fares to attend the music festivals and meet up with other fans at the GenFly Lounge pavilion.
