Midwest Airlines announces its policy and fee changes

Please note the following policy and fee changes.

Lost Ticket Fee
♦ Effective May 13, 2009, the lost ticket fee is $100. The fee is nonrefundable.

Name Changes
♦ Effective May 13, 2009, name changes are no longer allowed.

Pet Fees
♦ For tickets purchased on or after May 13, 2009, the charge for pets traveling in the cabin is $125 each way. The charge for pets traveling as checked baggage is $150 each way.

Same-day Confirmed Travel
♦ Effective May 13, 2009, the same-day confirmed travel fee is $50 per flight. This option applies to most nonrefundable tickets, as well as award tickets. There is no longer an option to standby for flights without paying a fee.
♦ Passengers must travel on the same day they were originally ticketed and confirm their new flight within 3 hours of the new scheduled departure time at the departure airport. Confirmation is subject to availability of a physical seat in the same seating category as the original ticket. There can be no change to the origin or destination, though intermediate stops may vary.
