Air France Offers La Dolce Vita

Past winners of the Cannes Film Festival will be available to watch on board

Movies are an essential part of Air France’s in-flight entertainment program. With 85 films on offer, some translated into up to 9 languages*, Air France has the biggest in-flight movie theatre in Europe (in terms of the number of films).

During May, Air France is spotlighting the Cannes Film Festival in its in-flight entertainment programme. A selection of past winners from the Festival will be available to watch on board in the “Movies” section.

  • "Entre les murs", by Laurent Cantet, Palme d'Or in 2008,
  • "La Dolce Vita", by Federico Fellini, Palme d'Or in 1960,

  • "Babel", Best Director award in 2006,
  • "Le scaphandre et le papillon", Best Director award in 2007.
Available on nearly all long-haul flights, this entertainment program also includes about fifteen films in their original version to better represent our passengers’ tastes and cultures, more than half of whom are non-French.

Air France is also the first European airline to offer individual video to all passengers and all cabin classes, with 33,000 screens.
